Foundation of 'cogito Gesellschaft für Elektronikentwicklung mbH'
by Jörg Henne and Frank Sautter.

cogito develops for Carl Zeiss Oberkochen a high-precision DDS-filmscanner for mammogram devices which work without ionising radiation.

William Mair founds BMS (Bill Mair Software).

cogito, Procon and BMS move practically at the same time into the Softwarezentrum Böblingen/Sindelfingen (SBS).

cogito programs the 'NetHunt' for swatch and develops together with  I-D Media swatch's first website.

Fusion of Procon and cogito into 'cogito Informationssysteme GmbH'

BMS announces Java Toolkit for ImagePlus VisualInfo.

1999

cogito takes active part in the market of the linux-based ThinClients and receives first positive test reports in the iX journal.

2000

The website www.polizei.propk.de technically realised by cogito
Informationssysteme GmbH gains the German Multimedia Award.

2000

cogito Informationssysteme GmbH is awarded for its technical
realisation of WERBAS AG's Investor- Relations-Websites.

2001

cogito moves to its new location in Holzgerlingen.

2001

On April 1st, 2001 cogito Informationssysteme GmbH and BMS merge into levigo holding gmbh with registered office in Holzgerlingen. At the same time the three subsidiaries levigo systems gmbh, levigo solutions gmbh and levigo software gmbh which specialise on different domains are founded.

2002

Jürgen Mästling becomes Bill Mair's successor and levigo solutions' leading manager.

2002

HUK-COBURG, Arcor and debeka start using jadice products in their companies.

2005

Further leading IT-service and insurance companies - among them the Allianz APKV - may be won as customers.

2005

At the end of the year levigo moves into a new building.

2007

levigo puts out the source code of its ThinClient software in the newly founded project openthinclient.org.

2008

levigo presents jadice server. Beside the extension of supported file formats jadice server enables an archiving of e-mails and their attachments according to law.

2009

levigo takes a share in openthinclient gmbh. Having been responsible for this project before Martin Kreiner and Alexander Stecher take over the management of the new company.

2010

levigo systems opens a second location within the ERPteam's premises in Backnang.

2012

levigo takes a stake in HPCN – Heinrich Professional Consultant Network GmbH.

2013

levigo moves to its new company building at Bebelsbergstrasse 31, Holzgerlingen
